  6. What are bumps on the head of a kitten?

  1. How do you care for an injured kitten?
Taking the kitten to the vet is best. In the meantime, you will want to keep the kitten as calm as possible by keeping down loud noise, keeping away curious children, and keeping other animals separated from it. Also, the kitten needs to be kept warm. You will want to let it hear your voice and feel your attention, because cats, especially when injured are highly sensitive and non- trusting.

  2. How many kittens can be born at once?
An average cat has 1-8 kittens per litter, and 2-3 litters per year. During her productive life, one female cat could have more than 100 kittens.

  3. If a cat is constipated is it normal if he scrapes his bum on the carpet and leaves stains on it?
Yes, this is called "scooting" and dogs do it as well. Call the vet for treatment or get a product at the pet store that will help. Make sure they have lots of water to drink. One product used to be called Cat-Lax, and was meat flavored and the consistency of Vaseline. One way to get them to eat it is to put it on their nose. A cat will always wash her face and take in the medicine this way. You can also smear it on their front paw, and they will lick this as well.

  4. If your cats have running eyes and are sneezing a lot will this go away on its own or do you need to take them to a vet?
It can be a common viral infection that lots of cats get. Especially if they are allowed to roam outdoors. The big name for it is, rhinotracheitis. It causes the cats eyes to become irritated with mucus and watery. And the cat will sneeze almost non-stop. Most cats recover from it without medication, but there can be complications. It will be a good idea to have them seen by a vet.

  5. Is it normal for a cat to lose one or two whiskers now and again and do they grow back?
Provided there are no signs of illness, injury, or infection " If there are get your friend to the vet ASAP". Then yes, it is ok and quite normal for a cat to loose their whiskers.. Even though they may be a little clumsy at times. "Cats whiskers are used to help them keep their balance, sense of direction, as well as to judge how close they are to certain objects." So if your cat is missing more than a couple of whiskers and is occasionally bumping into things he never has before,{Don't be suprised by it}. Give it a couple of weeks and you should notice the whiskers starting to regrow..

  6. What are bumps on the head of a kitten?

It depends on what size they are and if they are leaking any fluids. They might be a sign of an allergic reaction to something your cat eats or touches. If they start to really bother your cat or you, I suggest you see a vet to find out for sure what they are.

Also it could be a flea mound. My cat has had one before. If you leave it alone it will go away. This happened when she got fleas, because she is an indoor cat but she got outside and i guess they just jumped on to her.

  7. What are symptoms of cat allergies?
Symptoms of cat allergy are the same as other respiratory allergies: runny nose, sneezing, watery and itchy eyes, wheezing, coughing. It is also possible to have a contact allergy (rash) in an area licked by a cat.

  8. What are white wiggly gross worms in the cat's feces and how can they be treated?

If the worms look like white rice, then they are probably tape worms. If they are longer, they are probably round or hook worms. Either way, your cat needs to be wormed. If the worms found in your cat's stool are tapeworms, your veterinarian will have to provide a prescription dewormer like Drontal or Droncit to kill the worms. Other types of worms can be killed with regular heartworm prevention or over the counter wormer.

    • The most common type of worms are tape worms. They're usually caused when your cat ingests fleas. Not only will you need to have your vet provide Drontal or Droncit, but you will probably need a good flea medication.

  9. What do you do if your cat is excessively tired and losing his hair and appetite?

You should take it to the vet ASAP and have him/her checked it could be something as simple as a food allergy but it could also be something more severe... all those symptoms could be indications of Kidney failure... which could be brought on by Feline Lukemia,FIV, FIP or a number of different other aliments as well. Age can also place a part in why these symptoms are occuring. Again consult you vet...

 Testimonials
I ordered dog food this past week and received it on Friday. What great service! and the gal who called me in response to my e-mail couldn't have been nicer. Kudos to her for her patience! You must really be organized and I am certainly impressed with the speed with which you get your orders shipped. You have my business from now on.....Thanks so much, Stephanie

OMG!!! I received my order PLUS that dinosaur bone you threw in there. THANK YOU so-so much... the dogs are absolutely estatic!!! That bone is almost as big as Faust. -Christine

I just received my order and wanted to say "Thank You". With all the treats and extras, it was fun to go through the whole box. It also arrived very quickly and in good condition. It will be a pleasure ordering in the future. Thank you, Jennifer

Thanks for being so helpful all the way, from the communication to packaging and the follow ups. I am glad you decided to ship to me! I would definitely order from you again, as a lot of items are not available in South Africa. -Shu Wen

Amazing post! My mate has been waiting for a parcel from 40 miles away for 4 days. -Mike, United Kingdom

Just wanted to say THANK YOU! Specially for being the only store who ships to Puerto Rico at reasonable rates and fast. Also your prices and variety of products are AWESOME! Everything arrived in good condition and exactly as described, plus the samples you threw in there, my dog loved them!. I have no words to describe how grateful I am. - Stephanie

I can't believe I got my ordered delivered to my house the same day I placed it. That's unheard of, all the other companies that deliver put you on a schedule, you never get it same day - Andrea

Thank you for everything! I got the food the next day! It was like having it overnighted but not paying for overnight. I told all of my friends about your store too. -Jessica

Just wanted to let you guys know how impressed I am with your website and operations. I have dealt with numerous websites ordering a wide range of products but no other website operates as efficient and flawless as you guys do. I have ordered from you guys 3 times and every time my product ships the same day and I also receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number immediately after. Glad to see a website supporting the small percentage of pet owners that like to feed their pet a healthy diet. Keep up the good work, I plan on buying my dog food from no one else. Thanks again. -Kyle

I was so elated to find you had the moo chew sticks in stock. Our two dogs love them, and the stores here locally on the Olympic peninsula in Washington state are all sold out and don't know when to expect any more. Ditto for Amazon. So my Google search led me to you. Thank you for the great customer service!!! - Jeanne
