It's a day of outdoor fun for dogs and dog lovers! The City's second annual Woofstock event will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Sawgrass Sanctuary (237 North New River Circle, Sunrise 33326). Admission is FREE, and the first 500 canines through the gates will receive a “Doggie Bag” of treats. Bring your furry BFF or adopt one on site! Woofstock will feature live entertainment, demonstrations, a lure course and race track, rescue groups, and food and retail vendors. Don't miss our Canine Contests: 11:30 a.m. Grooviest Threads (Best Dressed) 12:30 p.m. Gnarliest Trick 1:30 p.m. Most Righteous Kisser Please note that all dogs must have a current rabies tag for admittance, and retractable leashes are not permitted.
